Fortigate Check_MK plugin updated to 2.3

Once again I have uploaded a new version of the Fortigate Check_MK plugin to Check_MK Exchange. The new version 2.3 got a new check called fortigate-wlan-info. This check is intended to display the following information about the usage of Fortiinet Access Points (FAP), connected to the monitored Fortigate:

  • Number of active FAPs
  • Numer of missed FAPs or those in down state
  • Numer of mobile clients connected to all FAPs

The new check has a Perf-O-Meter as well as an adjusted PNP4Nagios template.

The new vesion of the plugin can be (hopefully soon) downloaded from Check_MK Exchange.

Hi Patrick, thanks for nice words!
I haven’t had any experience with CHECK_MK 1.2.8 yet. I guess the new version has checks with the same name and it leads to a conflict. A solution might be to rename all checks, but I have to look at the issue deeper first. I can’t tell you now, when I’ll have time for that.

    Hi,

for those of you who has faced the issue with duplicated service descriptions: I’ve just created a package with changed service descriptions, check names etc. Just to avoid the issue. Please download the package from here: https://we.tl/mWqkmznzsR. The name of the file is fortigate-2.3.1.mkp. Please download the package from the offcial Check_MK package exchange site.
Please let me know, if it’s worked.

    Best regards
    Hermann Maurer
